The Smallville series revolves around Clark Kent (Tom Welling) learning about his own powers and how to manage them. He gets joined by his friends, Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack), Lois Lane (Erica Durance) and Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore), his girlfriend Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk), his cousin Kara (Laura vandervoort) and his former friend, Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum). Providing more support in managing his powers is is Lionel Luthor (John Glover).
