David Beckham, fresh from a trip to Africa, was shirtless on a Brazilian beach in Cabo Sao Roque on Tuesday. His visit was part of a weekend unveiling of a new soccer project that will bear his name. The David Beckham World of Sports will feature eight soccer fields and facilities for top athletes. There will also be a scholarship program that will benefit Brazilian children.
The planned luxury resort near Natal will be the site of Beckham’s third soccer academy. He has previously launched sites in London and Los Angeles. As a partner in the resort project, he will oversee the progress of the sporting complex.
