Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United
Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo is happy to have seen Dimitar Berbatov open his goal-scoring account for the European champions and foresees more to come for the Bulgarian captain.
Berbatov completed a second-half brace for United last night in the Champions League against Aalborg; the goals were his first since signing for the club on transfer deadline day from Tottenham Hotspur.
After enduring a barren start to his Manchester United career, Berbatov revealed in the wake of the encounter that he was pleased with his two-goal salvo.
His sentiment was echoed by Cristiano Ronaldo, who was relieved to see his new strike partner off the mark for the Red Devils.
The Portuguese suggested that there may be more to come from Berbatov, provided he can keep his confidence high.

He told Sky Sports: "It's good. It's good for Berba to score his first goals for Manchester. He played good. It's always good for the forwards to score to keep the confidence high."
Ronaldo made a belated start to this campaign after ankle surgery limited his involvement in United's opening to the Premier League season.

The 23 year-old made an ahead-of-schedule return from his injury, but has admitted that he is still not at full fitness.
Ronaldo is confident and feeling well, but stated that he needs another 14 to 21 days to recover his full level of fitness.
He continued: "It will be another two or three weeks before I can give 100%. I feel very good. There is good improvement there and I am very happy to be back.
'But my ankle has still not fully recovered. I still feel it a little bit. But the medical staff say that is normal and I feel very confident about the future."
